The Importance of Critical Analysis

For a long time now I have been bombarded with Mr Claassens ‘Transhumanist’ ideas and perspectives which I acknowledge are engaging and more so I enjoy a lengthy debate. At the core of my beliefs I am a critical thinker who is realistic and simplistic in my perspectives.

Mr Claassens believes I am a Socialist his view is attributed to my BA in Social Science (Criminology). I acknowledge that some might say my educational background creates a bias in my ideas however I do not agree for at the core of my thinking critical analysis is taking place.

I would like to clarify from the onset that I am not against transhumanism what I aim to achieve from this post is the importance of critical analysis in acquiring a well rounded perspective on any ideology.

Simply speaking critical analysis encourages seeking out information, being active in thought and not just accepting whatever we hear and read. Critical analysis promotes asking questions, evaluating data, making well informed decisions, linking information together and putting it into context without biases.

This post is for all those who care about how their perspectives are formed and influenced and the impact it has on our everyday lives as well as the wider global community.
